My fiance has a debt collector coming after her pretty aggressively and in not the most ethical way (in CA). She has a car (still paying on it) and no other assets. I own a house with more equity than here debt. Can her debt collector come after my assets once we are married?

1)How long after a warrant for state tax debt is satisified should I expect A)notation of satisfied debt on my credit reports and B) removal of warrant information completely removed from my individual credit report.
2) Does satisfaction of the debt/warrant *immediately* impact my credit score and to what degree?

I know that not everyone takes out a loan for school but I just need an estimate number. I feel overwhelmed and stress out because I’m going to Nursing school and will have 28,000 in debt over my head after I graduate. I’m really really stressed! I do have a job lined up after I graduate but 28,000 seem so big right now.

I mean i heard after 6 years or so your credit card debt is written off, but if during those 6 years you get letters from different solictors, agencies etc does this include the 6 years or is it restarted from the beggining when to a another agency?
