whatever the facts may be, no judge should EVER have the ability to simply forgive this kind of debt. . . ultimately it is we the people who pick up the tab. . . . . and i have a hard enough time just paying for my own stuff. . . . . . . .

The misinformation about how the couple got themselves into this situation is astounding. . But not so much as peoples’ willingness to look the other way when a bank engages in this kind of conduct. The written reasons for Judgment are out. The bank’s conduct was truly abhorrent and the Judge’s decision definitely has legal footing. Each case rests on its own facts. . and the facts here don’t look good for One West, to say the least. Lying, lack of good faith, repulsiveness. . not good.

i was lietening to steve forbes and others tonite. . . . . . this case will probably get over turned. . . . . . . . but the fact is, this judge should never have made this decision. . . . . . . . .

I agree. I`m happy for the couple & I hope they learn a lesson about money managment from this. I hope they don`t walk away thinking they can go on another spending spree & not have to pay their bills. I agree that this is wrong b/c if I sold someone my house & we agreed they`d pay me back in monthly payments, but then a judge just said they didn`t have to pay, I would have been robbed of my money. Banks can be robbed too as in this circumstance. A new payment plan should have been made.
